As of May 12th Andrea is officially done with Schoolwork, with the exception of doing 2 weeks of labwork up in Omaha! Then it is off to rotations for a year, which is essentially like paying to have a job. We are really excited for her first rotation in June in the Dominican Republic, she will be there for 5 weeks on a island mountain while I live the bachelor life at home. Therefore it looks like Andrea and I are going to be vacationing in the Dominican Republic this summer. Don't think our house will be unattended, we are looking around for house sitters right now. But the wonderful town of Las Galeras calls. We will be staying in a nice little Chalet near the beach. You can check out the website here. We will be in Chalet number 2. Great beaches and nature await us. We will be needing to find our own food while we are down there so we plan on stopping by a grocery store to pick up essentials (eg Rum, rum and more rum, maybe some food too) near the airport before the 3 hour drive to Las Galeras. Supposedly there is an abundance of fresh fish and fruit to be delivered to your door. We are very excited. Hopefully some friends can come along, the Caribbean is so much more fun with friends. That is all for now, we will try to post pictures when we get back for everyone to enjoy. |

Here is a picture of us in Cabo. Some of the highlights of our trip: We drove jet skis in the Sea of Cortez (behind us here) and saw a couple of sting rays. Adam went deep sea fishing and caught a 90 pound marlon. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary and repeated our vows to eachother on the beach. Overall it was a very fun and relaxing vacation! |

Wow a new website. I havent had a good working one since the wedding website...wonder where that one went...I still need to fix the header graphic to put andrea and I on there but it is a great start. Anyway, this site is far more functional. You can go to our gallery and get pictures of our recent excursions. Or you can check out our calendar to see where we are and details on events! You will also get updates on our exciting life and maybe we will post Andrea's report cards....just kidding. |

Yep, rumors are correct, andrea and I are going to belize and we are heading out the 14th bright and early. Andrea was nice and has arranged for me to be able to go fishing on this trip which is a great boon to me since I have wanted to go big game fishing for a long time. I plan on buying a bottle of rum, walking over to the docks and seeing who can take me out for a day. We are hoping to take lots of pictures and video to bore all our friends with when we get back. |
